Description
Process for the production of rayon using the copper ammonia draw spinning process The invention relates to a further development and improvement of the method according to Patent 577 726. Following the procedure of the main patent, ammonia and copper are running practically completely obtained from the circulating falling liquid by adding the falling liquid is used at an elevated temperature and at the same temperature Leaving the dropping vessel is subjected to a negative pressure. This becomes without considerable expenditure of energy a quick and practically complete recovery of ammonia and copper from the used falling liquid enables and -so that the used falling liquid can be reused on an ongoing basis. An essential one The advantage of the method is that the circulating amounts of falling liquid Can be kept relatively low, considering the weight of the silk Obtaining large amounts of the required falling liquid is a great economic one This beneficial effect is based on .the rapid and practical Complete recovery of the dissolved chemicals by exposure to negative pressure at elevated temperature.
According to the procedure of the main patent, the falling liquid should now also used to precipitate the thread at the same elevated temperature. this may require special precautions to prevent the filament from being precipitated not to be done too quickly, be it in the form of an increased ammonia content of the spinning solution, be it by reducing the amount of electrolyte added to it or other suitable means to delay the precipitation again. Applying this Means is sometimes undesirable as its effectiveness is tested on a case-by-case basis must become. The present invention provides a remedy here.
According to the invention, at any, including moderate, temperature the falling liquid can be used for felling. The chemicals are extracted however, again by the action of negative pressure at elevated temperature by the Used falling liquid flowing to the vacuum vessels through that from the vacuum vessels flowing processed falling liquid is heated. In this way, you just have to constantly a low supply of heat to compensate for the radiation losses, similar as with the procedure of the main patent.
The invention combines the advantages of the process of the main patent with the advantages of the known spinning process without recovery of chemicals. It makes it possible to get by with relatively small quantities Falling liquid, but leaves for the choice of fall temperature and composition completely free hand of the spinning solution.
It has already become known, from a primarily ammonia-containing one Divert liquid after use and work up a part while the remainder was adjusted back to the initial concentration by dilution. This process, which cannot be addressed as a purely circular process, is set presupposes that spinning is carried out with a falling liquid containing primarily ammonia. Here a modified spinning device must be used unless one changes the character of artificial silk wants to accept. Since the cycle continues no is more complete, but rather from the discontinuous work-up of each branched off Depending on the amount of liquid, considerable amounts of liquid and thus corresponding Container required.
In contrast to this, the method according to the invention. with far find their livelihood in smaller amounts of liquid.
The invention will be explained using a schematic representation, for example. From the storage tank i the falling liquid flows continuously at 25 ° through the tube into the spinning device 3 and reaches it. Precipitation of the threads at the same temperature into the collecting vessel 4. From here the used falling liquid is passed through the pipe 5 and the serpentine jacket pipe 6 and finally through the pipe 7 into the vacuum vessel 8, which is connected through the pipe g to a second vacuum vessel io in - Connection established = routed. On the way to the: Boilers will. the used falling liquid by the partially. inside the jacket tube 6, through which the heated falling liquid, freed of chemicals, flows back to the storage tank i, is heated. It enters the first vacuum vessel 8 at about 58 ° and is heated there to 60 ° by the steam coil 13. This is the only amount of heat that has to be consumed on an ongoing basis. The ammonia is sucked out of the heated precipitation liquid through the vacuum nozzle ii, 12, the copper precipitate that falls out is filtered off by a filter press (not shown) connected to the line 14 and the pure falling liquid at about 60 ° into the one surrounded by the jacket pipe. 6 Line introduced in order to give off heat to the used unprocessed falling liquid flowing in the opposite direction, in order to finally reach the storage container i again at a temperature of about 250.
If desired, fresh falling liquid can of course also be used continuously flow to the storage container without the inventive concept being essential as a result will be changed. All you have to do is add a slightly larger amount of heat, than corresponds to heat retention>,
