Device for protecting sootblowers against burning through internal cooling
It is known to protect sootblowers from burning by means of internal cooling by the
Coolant to the sootblower pipe automatically after completion of the blowing process
opening pressure relief valve is supplied. When trained according to the invention
Device is an internal cooling 'of the sootblower by the blowing agent with elimination
reached any valve. According to the invention, there is between the lockable
Entry point for the blowing agent and the blowing nozzle intended introduction point
for the coolant from one or more provided in the blowpipe wall, according to
Kind of drainage openings acting like small bores, the eire permanent connection
between the blowing agent supply line and the inside of the blowpipe. These
Seepage openings allow permanent entry in the simplest and safest way
small amounts of the glass agent into the blowpipe, bypassing the shut-off element,
which is closed at the end of the glass process. In the known protective device
the supply of the coolant depends on the operating state of the pressure relief valve.
