Die auf der Zeichnung in Fig. 1 im Grundrifs und Fig. 2 in Seitenansicht dargestellte Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Gestell, an dessen hinterem Theile sich, gelagert in zwei kegelförmigen Spitzen, eine Welle α befindet. An beiden Seiten dieser Welle α ist je ein Holzrad b von etwa 25 cm Durchmesser angeordnet. Diese Räder b sind verstellbar, um die Entfernung derselben von einander nach der Breite des .zu benutzenden Dreirades beliebig herstellen zu können; dieselben sind mit Rillen versehen, welche der Stärke des Gummiringes an Dreirädern entsprechen. An dem Vordertheile der Vorrichtung befindet sich die Feststellvorrichtung für das Vorderrad des in Anwendung zu bringenden Fahrrades. Diese Vorrichtung besteht aus dem der Form des Radreifens entsprechend gebogenen Hebel c, an dessen unterem Ende sich ein Löffel c c befindet; an dem oberen Ende desselben ist mittelst eine's.Bolzens ein weiterer, gleichfalls gebogener Hebel d mit Löffel d d befestigt, aufserdem eine. Durch diese Handhabung wird das Vorderrad des betreffenden Dreirades zwischen die Löffel c c und d d fest eingeklemmt, so dafs sich das Dreirad weder vornoch rückwärts bewegen kann, und man hat jetzt nur nöthig, das Dreirad so wie beim Fahren auf der Landstrafse zu benutzen, indem man durch Bethätigen der Trittkurbeln und vermittelst der Kettenübertragung die Hinterräder in Bewegung setzt, welche sich dadurch um ihre Achse drehen können, dafs sie ihrerseits die Holzräder b ins Rollen bringen. Der Zweck des Apparates ist, den Körper für Radfahrerzwecke einzuüben und eine gesundheitfördernde Zimmerübung zu ermöglichen.
