Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Anlassen von auf hydraulische Übersetzungsgetriebe arbeitenden Verbrennungskraftmaschirfen, bei der ein Hilfsmotor über eine Hilfspumpe Drucköl zum Anlassen der Hauptverbrennungskraftmaschine unter Vermittlung des hydraulischen Hauptgetriebes liefert. Es sind Einrichtungen bekannt, bei denen als Hilfsmotor eine Verbrennungskraftmaschine benutzt wird. Gemäß der Erfindung wird als Hilfsmotor zum Anlassen ein Elektromotor verwendet, der bei Normalbetrieb als Stromerzeuger arbeitet und die Akkumulatorenbatterie auflädt. Wenn nun mit der geschilderten Einrichtung unter Ausnutzung eines andern, ohnedies vorhandenen Hilfsmotors, etwa eines Elektromotors B, der aus der Akkumulatorenbatterie B, die auch zu Beleuchtungszwecken mitverwendet werden kann, betrieben wird, der Verbrennungsmotor M angelassen werden soll, so wird dieser Hilfsmotor mit einer kleinen Hilfsölpumpe P, die entweder als Zahnradpumpe mit konstanter Förderung je Umlauf oder auch als Getriebepumpe mit veränderlicher Hubeinstellung ausgeführt werden kann, verbunden. Soll nun mit Hilfe dieses Hilfsmotors E der Verbrennungsmotor M angelassen werden, so wird die kleine Hilfsölpumpe P in eine geeignete Hubstellung gebracht und der Elektromotor E angelassen. Die Pumpe P saugt sodann, etwa aus der Leitung L2, öl an und drückt es in die Leitung L1.
