Resonance relays are known in which the vibration spring acts on a contact hammer which is provided with mechanical damping. With these relays, the kinetic energy is transferred from the spring to the hammer without a resilient intermediate member. The consequence of this is that as soon as the spring has rocked sufficiently strongly, the hammer receives a push and slides upwards a little. The spring is completely braked by the impact; the hammer goes down a little until the spring is swung up again. Only then does he receive a second push. The movement of the hammer is therefore not a steady one, but one that jerks back and forth with an increasing tendency. It can be readily seen that the contact closure between the spring and the contact is not clearly Z 0 , but that in the course of the movement of the hammer the contact is closed for a short time, opens again, and then finally closes. Since there is no intermediate link between the resonance spring and the hammer, such a relay does not work completely silently.
It can now be done with a resonance relay with an electrically excited tongue
report all defects listed by the fact that, according to the invention, a
soft spring connected to the tongue, the contact actuating hammer electric or
is mechanically damped.
This creates a completely steady movement of the hammer, i. H. the hammer
moves evenly with the amplitude of the spring. The contacts are already at
the first touch safely closed. Furthermore, the relay works completely silently.
This advantage is of particular importance for resonance relays, for example
are used to correct clocks hanging in inhabited rooms.
Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in FIGS.
In the case of the resonance relay shown in FIG. 1, ι is a contact 4 which actuates
Hammer, which is connected to the tongue 2 via a soft spring 3 in such a way that it
when the amplitude of the tongue 2 rises when it sways, the electrical contact is made
4 closes. The movement of the contact hammer ι is made by the magnet
5 and the one attached to the hammer 1 and moving in the mouth of the magnet
Damping disk 6 existing eddy current brake braked.
Man erreicht
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2, the contact member 7 is a KoI-ben
formed, which is immersed in the brake cylinder 8. The piston carries the spring-loaded one at the top
Contact 9, its mating contact 10 through a tightly fitting insulation cap 11
is led. The power is supplied, for example, by the delicate suspension spring 12
itself whose tension against the vibration spring 13 connected to it by adjusting
of the brake cylinder 8 provided with external threads is regulated in the axial direction. The piston 7 rests on one in the cylinder
8 recessed snap ring 14. The downward movement releases the air in the cylinder
8 compressed so that the movement can only take place slowly. One achieves
in this way that only those impulses can produce a switching frequency, their duration
is long enough, but not foreign impulses of short duration, even if higher voltage.
