Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verschluß für Schmuckketten, bei dem ein am einen Kettenende angeordnetes Sperrglied nach dem Hindurchführen durch eine öse am anderen Kettenende sich in seiner Schließstellung gegen die Öse stützt. Die bekannten Verschlüsse dieser Art haben den Nachteil, daß das Hindurchführen des Sperrgliedes durch die Öse umständlich ist; auch die Sicherheit gegen unbeabsichtigtes Zurückgleiten des Sperrgliedes aus der Öse ist nur gering.
