Die Erfindung besteht in der Anwendung von rohrenden Retorten oder Oefen, welche behufs Destillirung von Kohle oder für andere Zwecke mit geeigneten Vorrichtungen versehen sind, derart, dafs das zu destillirende Material stetig in die Retorte an einem Ende eingeführt und nach der Destillation am anderen Ende derselben abgeführt wird.The invention consists in the use of tubular retorts or ovens, which provided with suitable devices for the distillation of coal or for other purposes are such that the material to be distilled is continuously introduced into the retort at one end and is discharged after the distillation at the other end of the same.
