The innovation concerns machines for processing metal objects by means of endless ones Emery belt, and has the purpose of finishing small metal objects to be made possible at will and evenly by means of emery tape instead of manual labor, Files etc.

The present innovation consists mainly in the attachment of an adjustable table a \ on which the endless emery belt α runs, in connection with an adjustable support plate h ^l h ² above the same, which serves to hold the metal objects to be processed.

Two of these emery belts α of different grain size, guided over pulleys g ¹ g ¹ , are expediently arranged on a frame b. At one end of the same there are two slots c, in each of which a pin c ^{1 is} adjustably attached, on which the pulleys g ¹ rotate loosely. The other end of the frame b is provided with a bearing d , which can be adjusted by the screw spindle d ¹ provided with a hand wheel d ^z and the nut d ² for the purpose of tensioning the emery belts a, which are put into operation by the pulley f. On the side of the frame b a split eye b ^{l is} arranged in which the pin i ^x is screwed vertically by the bolt i and serves to accommodate the table a ¹ , which is through the screw a ² in relation to the lower side of the emery belt α is vertically adjustable. Above the latter, the bed h ¹ is arranged rotatably and vertically adjustable by the screw a ^B on the pin i ¹ , and on the same the horizontally displaceable slide h provided with the support plate h ^2.

The support plate h ² can be arranged either at the end or in the middle of the carriage h and the metal object to be processed is held against the same and the carriage h , whereby the same is processed in a rectangular or any other arbitrary shape.
