Description

Process for the production of molded parts from synthetic resins according to the Injection process The main patent 540 552 relates to a process for the production of Moldings made of synthetic resins by the injection molding process, being thermoplastic Injection-molded polymeric compounds are used which are in the monomeric state contain the atomic complex CH2 - CH- (vinyl group). With some of these polymers the inclination of the heated spray material occurs occasionally on the punch or in the mold to get stuck and then to deform when forcibly detached from the shape, disturbing in appearance. It has already been mentioned in the main patent that it is possible is to improve the physical properties of the polymers through suitable additives change and thus increase the processing ability. So it is also possible the sticking due to additives of, for example, an oily nature, more or less to prevent. However, these additives often create an undesirable softness and flexibility of the material.

It has now been found that the error mentioned in more advantageous Way can also be canceled without additions by the fact that the basis of the main patent subjects lying polymers to thermal hardening before processing, the curing expediently at temperatures of about roo ° and more in an and Absence of catalytically active substances, formaldehyde, acids, etc., take place can. The products treated in this way can be sprayed easily and dissolve easily from the punch and without deformation as a hard, non-bending injection piece from the shape. It is known (Austrian Patent 117866), polymeric vinyl compounds to harden by heating for the purpose of processing on films or on the usual Press paths to be produced fittings. From this fact alone, however, could by no means without further ado to the advantageous possible use of thermally hardened Products for the special case on which the main patent is based, namely for the Spray process, are closed.
