B. für Kaffeebohnen, Getreidearten sowie auch Gesteine u. dgl. bekannt geworden, bei denen eine Sortierung nach Farbe und Reflexionsvermögen unter Verwendung von lichtempfindlichen elektrischen Organen (Selenzellen, Photozellen u. dgl.) erfolgt. Es ist auch bereits vorgeschlagen worden, bei derartigen selbsttätigen Sortiervorrichtungen in den Weg der zum lichtempfindlichen elektrischen Organ führenden Strahlen geeignete Filter einzuschalten, damit auf das erwähnte Organ nur einzelne Spektralbereiche zur Wirkung kommen.Method and device for automatic sorting of objects with the help of a light-sensitive, electrical organ. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß viele Körper, deren Reflexionsvermögen bzw. deren Durchlässigkeit sich im sichtbaren Gebiet nur sehr unwesentlich voneinander unterscheidet, im ultravioletten Gebiete außerordentliche Differenzen aufweisen. So sehen z. B. Kaffeebohnen verschiedener Sorte für das Auge sehr ähnlich aus.
