It turns out that in the case of electrical drives, when there is no mains voltage should be switched off, the connection through the normally used zero voltage switch not immediately, but only after a while. This phenomenon is caused by the fact that the magnetic fields of the motors do not disappear immediately if the mains voltage is removed, but slowly decay. Since the Speed does not immediately go back to zero, so the system is powered by the engines from further kept under tension. The zero voltage relays used so far are held for some time by the slowly decaying tension, so that the Motors are not switched off immediately from the mains. They therefore fail to serve their purpose the motors from inadmissible power surges when the mains voltage returns quickly to protect. This is all the more dangerous, the slower the magnetic field of the motors disappears, especially since it builds up again all the more slowly when the mains voltage appears again. In this case, the motors start with a field that is too low and therefore take an impermissible field high current.
The invention avoids these disadvantages in that the induction current which occurs when the motor current is interrupted or reversed in an auxiliary coil inductively coupled to the motor current is used to switch off the switch. There are two windings on a small transformer Tr (Fig. 1). The motor current flows through the primary winding d , the secondary winding e is connected to a second winding b arranged on the magnets of the mains switch N. If the mains voltage remains, the motor current is interrupted or reversed by the incoming generator winding. This creates a current surge in the secondary winding e of the transformer Tr , which flows through the winding b of the switch A r . The coils α and b of the switch N are now switched so that the ampere turns resulting from the induction current surge in the winding b cancel the ampere turns of the winding α from the still existing motor field, so that the armature falls off and the system is switched off immediately.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the device in which no special transformer necessary is. The induction coil is here on one or more poles, z. B. of a DC motor, wound.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine weitere Anwendungsform. DieFig. 3 shows a further form of application. The second coil b wound onto the magnet of the switch Λ τ is omitted here. the
Coil α of switch N is connected in series with secondary coil e of transformer Tr.
A further form of application is shown in FIG. 4. Here, the coil α of the switch N is connected in parallel with the secondary coil e of the transformer Tr.
In the two embodiments described last, a current flows continuously through the secondary coil e of the transformer Tr during normal operation and pre-magnetizes the core of the transformer. In order to cancel the premagnetization , a further winding f can be applied to the transformer Tr in addition to the secondary winding e of the transformer Tr, as FIG. 5 shows. The latter is then switched so that the current flowing through it cancels the premagnetization of the transformer winding e and possibly the high- voltage coil d. This reduces the dimensions of the transformer Tr while maintaining the same performance.
In order to accelerate the dropping of the armature of the switch N even more, as FIG. 6 shows, a capacitor c can be connected in parallel to the coil α of the switch N.
In den Abb. 1 bis 6 sind Hauptstrommotoren angegeben, doch ist die Einrichtung ebensogut im Zusammenhang mit NebenMain current motors are shown in Figures 1 through 6, but the facility is just as well in connection with secondary
