Description

Verdickungsmittel für Zahnpasten und Mundpflegemittel Es wurde gefunden, daß wässerige oder alkoholische Pektinlösungen (Pektingele) mit Vorteil als Verdickungsmittel an Stelle von mehrwertigen Alkoholen, wie Glykol, Glycerin in sauren und Traganth, Carragheenmoos, ` Agar-Agar, Gelatine u. dgl. in neutralen Zahn- und Mundpflegemitteln, dienen können; denn sie sind F. viel haltbarer als Traganth und Carragheenmoos und bedürfen meist keiner Konservierungsmittel, 2. für die in den Pasten und Mundwässern enthaltenen wirksamen ätherischen (51e gute Emulgierungsmittel. Die ätherischen (51e werden beim Gebrauch so in feinster Verteilung zu größerer Wirksamkeit gebracht. Sie sind 3. gegen Säuren, deren Zusatz bei modernen Zahnpasten oftmals erwünscht ist, beständig und werden nicht ausgefällt.
