Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Regulator ist aus Glas und Gummi zusammengesetzt und für die Leitung eines fünfflammigen Gasometers berechnet. Derselbe wird senkrecht mit dem Haupthahn A in Verbindung gebracht und durch die Gummischläuche B und Gummiringe C gehörig verdichtet. Beim Oefihen des Hahnes am Gasometer strömt nun das Gas durch das Hauptrohr A in den Gummiballon D und durch die unten in denselben mittelst einer feinen Nadelspitze gestochenen Löcher E zwischen dem Cylinder F und dem Ballon D in die Fortsetzung des Hauptrohres A ein.The regulator shown in the drawing is composed of glass and rubber and is designed to run a five-flame gasometer.
