Description
Outlet and overflow device for sinks, sinks and the like The invention relates to an outlet and overflow device for sinks, sinks and. Like. With a guide that is longitudinally displaceable in a seat above the basin outlet opening Overflow standpipe and consists in that inside the overflow standpipe a fixed overflow partition is arranged, which the standpipe in its longitudinal direction into an ascending inlet channel communicating with the pelvic space and divided into a sloping outlet channel. This enables the inlet opening of the ascending inlet channel as deep as desired in the wall of the overflow standpipe to be arranged so that the storage of the standpipe is provided within the pool area can be achieved, whereby substantial savings can be achieved.
There are standpipe-like drain devices known that in the drain pipe be passed through a sieve body, so there is no free drainage when opening. On the other hand, drainage devices have already been proposed in which the Standpipe sits outside the pool and a fixed one in its interior represents inaccessible housing with a movable, the valve body forming Septum. These known devices have inaccessible deposits for dirt and rubbish.
Abb. a zeigt in größerem Maßstab einen Querschnitt durch die Führung .des Standrohres längs Linie A-B der Abb. i.In the drawing, Fig. I shows a longitudinal section through a basin with reproduced an embodiment of the discharge device according to the invention. Fig. A shows, on a larger scale, a cross-section through the guide of the standpipe along line A-B of Fig. i.
At the bottom of the basin a, the outlet nozzle b serving as a valve seat is inserted in the usual manner. The lower end of the standpipe c is designed as the final valve body. This standpipe c is mounted in a known manner in the pool body so as to be longitudinally displaceable. For this purpose, for example, a bearing part d with a corresponding bore can be formed on the rear wall of the pool below the pool edge. The cavity of the standpipe c is divided into two channels f and g by vain longitudinal partition e, which ends at the height of the highest liquid level x of the basin, which merge into one another at the upper end of the partition e and of which the channel f at the lower end of the Standpipe c closed by the partition e against the outlet nozzle b and merges into a wall opening lt of the standpipe c, while the channel g is open at the bottom and opens into the outlet opening of the basin. For good guidance of the longitudinally displaceable standpipe c, a guide sleeve i can be inserted in the bearing part d of the pool body in a known manner, which is held by means of a pin k of a screw ring L firmly inserted into the pool at its upper end designed as a flange and secured against rotation . This guide sleeve i has a longitudinal slot in which a laterally protruding pin ia of the standpipe c is guided. In the high position of the standpipe, which is limited by a screw cap o placed on the ring i, the pin n finds space in a recess in the flange of the sleeve i in order to follow a pivoting (Fig. 2), and thereby secures on the The end face of the flange rests, the standpipe falling onto the valve seat of the outlet b. By unscrewing the cap o, the standpipe c can be pulled completely out of the guide i, which is particularly necessary for cleaning purposes. For convenient handling of the standpipe, its upper end is designed as a knob p, which covers the guide parts like an umbrella. This movement device of the overflow standpipe is not the subject of the invention.
The standpipe c can be made of metal, but also of glass, porcelain or Other ceramic materials are produced, which is particularly important for keeping clean is valuable. The valve seat on the outlet port b is expediently elastic Lined so that the standpipe is not damaged if it accidentally falls will.
If the standpipe c is lowered, it closes the outlet b ab and: acts as an overflow if necessary. For emptying the basin. becomes the standpipe c pulled up on the knob p until the pin n touches the cap o, whereupon a Turning to the right takes place, which secures the standpipe c in the elevated position results.
