Description

Verfahren zur Zusammenstellung dekorativer Flächenmusterungen aus Stücken eines Grundmusters Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von dekorativen Musterungen durch Aneinanderreihen von Teilmustern. Bisher wurden derartige Musterungen durch Aneinanderreihen genau symmetrischer und gleich großer Teile hergestellt. Die so herstellbaren Musterungen sind in ihrer Mannigfaltigkeit und Wirkung ziemlich beschränkt und mehr oder weniger einförmig. Das Verfahren nach der Erfindung ergibt dagegen unter Verwendung nur eines einzigen Grundmusters eine unbeschränkte Mannigfaltigkeit dekorativer Musterungen sowohl ausgesprochen symmetrischer als auch unsymmetrischer, jedoch niemals einförmiger oder langweiliger Wirkung. Diese Musterungen können sowohl in der Papier- als auch in der Bekleidungsindustrie vorteilhafte Verwendung finden. Nach der Erfindung werden zunächst aus dem Grundmuster und seinem Spiegelbilde Musterpaare hergestellt, bei denen das Grundmuster mit seinem Spiegelbilde genau zur Deckung gebracht ist. Aus diesen Musterpaaren werden durch geradlinige Schnitte, die in einer Art von Pilgerschritt aufeinanderfolgen und die in an sich beliebigen, jeweils durch die Art der beabsichtigten Musterzusammenstellungen bedingten Richtungen und Abständen geführt werden, Teilmusterpaare ausgeschnitten. Da jedes folgende Teilmusterpaar in den Bereich des vorhergehenden eingreift oder es überschreitet, so ergibt sich, daß für jedes Teilmusterpaar ein Grundmusterpaar benötigt wird.
