Description

  • Laugenbeständiges Gußeisen Es ist bekannt, daß sich Antimon mit Gußeisen legieren läßt.
  • Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß antimonhaltiges Gußeisen mit geringen Mengen Antimon, zweckmäßig etwa o,i bis o,4. und höchstens o,6°/0, verwendet wird, um das Gußeisen für alkalische Wässer und Salze widerstandsfähiger, d. h. laugenbeständig zu machen.
  • Das Antimon beeinflußt die sonstigen Eigenschaften des Gußeisens ungünstig und darf deshalb zur Erhöhung der Laugenbeständigkeit nur in solchen geringen Mengen zugegeben werden, daß die sonstigen Eigenschaften des Gußeisens nicht allzu sehr beeinträchtigt werden.

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH Die Verwendung eines an sich bekannten Gußeisens mit o,z bis höchstens o,6°/0 Antimon zur Herstellung von solchen Gegenständen, bei denen es auf Beständigkeit gegen Laugen ankommt.
