Description
Electric gas cleaning system with collecting electrodes Liquid has to be sprinkled It has proven particularly useful in the operation of wet filters for electrical cleaning of gases, shown to be very important that the precipitation surfaces be completely and evenly wetted with trickle water. Are z. B. with wet electrostatic precipitators If larger electrode surfaces are used, it can easily happen that the trickling water some parts of the electrode flow down to a greater extent, while other parts of the electrode too little to be sprinkled. In the following it will now be shown how this malady is lets fix.
The precipitation electrode sprinkled with liquid is known in Manner designed so that it consists of individual elements, and for each Element is provided with a special spray nozzle so that each sprinkles independently can be. Because the individual electrode elements do not touch, once applied to an electrode element, the liquid is forced only to to flow down this element. This way you can have an even distribution the trickle liquid, e.g. B. water, on the surface of the collecting electrode forced grazing. In the figure, an embodiment of the invention is shown. The collecting electrode consists of a horizontal rod r, of which several individual elements z freely hang down, which are individually sprinkled from the spray nozzles 3 mounted above which are fed by a common line 4. The individual elements z are suspended so far apart that the one trickling down from each element Fluid is forced to stay on this element. This creates a uniform Sprinkling of all elements and thus the collecting electrode that is composed of them achieved.
