Description
Paper sack machine with the bottom flaps on the paper tubes be folded over by shaped sheets and folding fingers. The invention relates to machines for the production of large paper sacks and relates in particular to facilities for Turning over the bottom flaps on the paper tubes, which is related to the formation of the so-called Floor squares connects.
There are facilities known in which the paper tubes on which the bottom square is formed after applying glue to folded and shaped sheets by which the reassignment takes place. In these known arrangements the disadvantage occurs that the adhesive is stripped off when the bag is passed and that this results in an imperfect gluing of the floor and smearing entry.
This disadvantage is avoided according to the invention in that a with the bag to be folded progressing folding plate in the form of one with the The speed of the paper using the metal pressure belt that continues to run always with the same spots on the spots provided with glue of the floor square acts.
The invention is exemplified by the drawing and omitted the details not necessary for understanding are given, namely FIG. 1 is a schematic side view of the folding device, FIG. 2 is a plan view about it, which shows a paper tube in four different working positions. Fig. 3 Fig. 3 is a large-scale section taken along line a-b in Fig. i.
The paper tubes P, which are manufactured in any known manner and provided with a square bottom, are fed to the right end of the machine in the illustration of FIGS. 1 and 2 and progress through the machine from right to left. In FIG. 2, a paper tube is shown at P, -P, in various characteristic work stages, while in FIG. I only the two layers P; and P3 are indicated. On its way through the machine, the paper tube passes through a large number of interacting pairs of rollers or rollers, which rotate in the direction of the arrows shown. When passing between the rollers a, ä on the right-hand side of the machine, the hose P1, which progresses transversely to its axis and is provided with a floor square O, receives a paste application from the paste box b with the help of any known intermediate links, which is created by the hatched U-shaped area c is indicated. It then moves on between the rollers d on its underside and the pressure rollers e above. After a short distance, the floor square arrives in the area of a pressure band (in particular a steel or other metal band) g which is arranged symmetrically to the diagonal f of the floor square and which is guided over a pair of rollers h, li. These rollers are driven so that the belt g advances at the same speed as the paper tube travels through the machine as a result of the cooperation of the rollers d and e. The width of the band g corresponds to the width of the floor to be produced. The length of the tape or the distance between the rollers h, li is chosen so that when the various hoses are passed through, the same points of the tape always hit the parts of the floor square provided with adhesive at c, so that smearing is avoided.
On the outer edges i, i 'of the bottom square, guide plates k, k' act on both sides while passing the band g in a manner known per se, which bend the side flaps gradually open around the edge of the band g. Immediately behind the guide and shaped plates k, k ' , two pressure rollers rotating around vertical spindles act in' in 'on the flap, which press the flap sharply against the belt. In the further course, the flaps are then laid down one after the other from the vertical position given to them by the rollers in, zti, with the help of folding fingers iz, o or ii, o '. The folded edges are finally laid down by pressure rollers p, p ', and the finished folded bag leaves the machine at P4.
The bottoming can be done in the same way at the same time on the other Hose end are effected, naturally at one hose end in a per se known Way, the bottom is to be designed as a valve bottom. The facilities required for this however, as not belonging to the subject matter of the invention, are not shown and described in detail.
