Verlängerbarer Stiel für Schaufeln u. dgl., der aus einem im äußeren, aus 1Vletallrohr hergestellten Teil längsverschiebbar angeordneten inneren, ebenfalls rohrförmig ausgebildeten, mit einem Handgriff verbundenen und mit einer Feststellvorrichtung versehenen Schiebeteil besteht Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen verlängerbaren hohlen Stiel für Schaufeln oder ähnliche Handgeräte, der im Inneren einen herausschiebbaren, mit dem Handgriff verbundenen Teil trägt, welcher seinerseits mit einer Feststellschnappervorrichtung für die Verlängerung des Stieles versehen ist. Der Erfindungsgegenstand besteht darin, daß in dem Inneren eines Metallrohres eine Schnapperv orrichtung angeordnet ist, deren Arme schräg voneinander laufen und in abgebogenen horizontalen Enden, sogenannten Schnappern, auslaufen. Diese Schnapper greifen durch die Wand des inneren Teiles hindurch in die in Abständen in der Innenwand des hohlen Stieles angeordneten Öffnungen hinein. Zum Auslösen dieser Schnapper ist in dem ausschiebbaren hohlen Teil eine Zugstange vorgesehen, die an dem unteren Ende eine Öse trägt, die die schrägen Gabelarme umfaßt. Durch den Zug an dem oben an der Stange angebrachten Handgriff wird die Schnappvorrichtung außer Eingriff gebracht, und der Verlängerungsteil des Stieles kann verstellt werden.
