Diesem Umstand entspringen gewisse Mängel der bisher zum Bedrucken von Metallfolie üblich gewesenen Verfahren. Man war bei Verwendung von Druckfarbe entweder gezwungen, die bedruckten Metallbogen einzeln zum Trocknen aufzuhängen, was viel Raum erforderte, umständlich und daher teuer war, oder man mußte Papier zwischen die einzelnen bedruckten Bogen einschießen. Dabei ließ sich nicht vermeiden, daß. Farbe von der Folie auf das eingeschobene Papier übertragen und dadurch die Sauberkeit des Druckes beeinträchtigt wurde.
