Description

Process for the production of durable gelatin capsules It is known Gelatin capsules of the most varied types, in particular for medical purposes, with more or less elastic wall to make gastric or intestinal soluble. the The walls of all gelatin capsules, however, are often in a shorter or longer time attacked by the contents of the capsule and the capsules become unsightly, if not at all, as a result of the dissolution of the capsule wall, unusable. Particularly hygroscopic materials and substances that are not indifferent to gelatine anyway, such as iodine or those containing iodine Connections destroy the capsule walls. It is already known to use gelatin to treat hardening substances. It is also known for the production of gelatin capsules to add enough alkalis or acids to the gelatin masses that the gelatin masses are just being neutralized by this. This process only achieves that the capsules are neutral, but this makes them more durable Fillings that attack gelatin. The essence of the present invention is so far new, when, according to her, durable gelatine capsules also attack the walls or have destructive fillings made. The one used to make the wall The capsule mass is namely inorganic or organic acids or mixtures from these, in each case with one another, or mixtures of inorganic acids with organic acids Acids added, the amount of which can change depending on the type of gelatin used and must be ascertained through tests on a case-by-case basis. The usual composition of the masses does not in itself require any changes. Those made from such masses Capsules can be made in the most varied of degrees of elasticity in the usual way or hard, both gastrointestinal and gastrointestinal.
