Description
Verfahren zum Vulkanisieren von Kautschuk mit Chlorschwefeldampf In der Kautschukindustrie ist bei der Heißvulkanisation mit Schwefel die Verwendung von Beschleunigern bekannt. Es sind dies meist organische Verbindungen verschiedener Zusammensetzung, die die Eigenschaft besitzen, den Vulkanisationsprozeß in der Wärme außerordentlich zu beschleunigen. Ein wirklich wirksamer Beschleuniger für die Kaltvulkanisation mit Chlorschwefeldampf war bisher nicht bekannt. Ein solcher wurde im Titandioxyd gefunden, von dem kleine Mengen die Vulkanisation außerordentlich beschleunigen, und zwar genügt zur Vulkanisation nur ein Bruchteil der Zeit, die ohne Titandioxyd notwendig ist.
