wirkt. The invention relates to a reverse current relay
for direct current. Such relays generally use either a permanent one
Magnet or an electromagnet whose winding is connected to the mains voltage
is. The permanent magnet has the disadvantage that there is a risk of de-excitation from a strong reverse current. at
the electromagnet connected to the voltage, it can happen that the same
in the event of a short circuit, when the voltage is down to a small fraction of its normal
Value decreases, is weakened. If the moving part affected by the electromagnet
of the relay is subject to a constant opposing force, it can happen that the reverse current
the relay cannot operate. To prevent this, according to the invention
the release force between an electromagnet influenced by the voltage
and a moving coil through which current flows; furthermore one of the
Triggering opposing force generated by the same electromagnet
that its leakage flux on a small auxiliary anchor
works.
in Endansicht in Abb. 3 dargestellt. In the drawing is an embodiment
the invention in side view with partial section in Fig. 1, in plan view in Fig. 2 and
shown in end view in fig.
The electromagnet has a three-legged core 1, the middle leg of which has one on
the mains voltage connected coil 2 carries. The upper part of this leg is from
surrounded by a movable coil 3, which from the main current or from a shunt
the same is traversed.
With normal current direction, the two coils attract each other and take one
Rest position a. When reversing the current, the coils will repel each other, and the
Spool 3 carried by a lever 4 is then lifted, rotating the lever around the pins
5 and closes the contacts 6. A small auxiliary armature 7 acts on this movement
Lever 4 counteracts which armature is only influenced by the leakage flux of the electromagnet 1, 2
will. If the voltage drops, the force between the two coils 2 decreases
and 3, but at the same time the counterforce acting on the small auxiliary anchor 7 also decreases
so that a reverse current always causes the contacts 6 to close.
