auf pflanzlichen und tierischen Stoffen Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein eigenartiges
und neues Verfahren, um künstlerisch gestaltete Drucke jeglicher Art und Form auf
pflanzliche und tierische Stoffe, wie Baumwolle, Wolle, Seide, Seidenplüsch, Halbwolle,
Leder, Papier usw., zu übertragen. Das neue Verfahren besteht darin, daß man elie
auf der Ware gewünschten Druckmuster in üblicher Weise auf Formen herstellt, die
so erhältlichen Muster poliert, färbt, zur Erzeugung der auf die Ware zu druckenden
Muster mit geeigneten Vorrichtungen behandelt und schließlich die so erhältlichen
farbigen künstlerisch gestalteten Muster auf die jeweils zu verwendende Ware in

hergestellt und diese nach Auftragen des Farbstoffes mit Hilfe eines Borstenpinsels
auf das Papier oder Papierstoffe übertragen. Um hierbei die künstlerische Wirkung
der Druckmuster auf dein Papier usw. zu erzeugen, war es aber unbedingt erforderlich,
daß die Muster von Kfnstlerhand angefertigt wurden. Demgegenüber ist es gemäß dem
neuen Verfahren nur erforderlich, Muster, welche keineswegs durch einen Künstler
angefertigt zu werden brauchen, mit einer Politur, z. B. einer Schellackpolitur
zu versehen. Die weitere Aufarbeitung, Färbung und Übertragung der Muster auf das
gewünschte Stoffmaterial geschieht dann wie allgemein üblich. Das gänzlich neue
und eigenartige der Erfindung liegt somit in der Erzeugung der Politur auf den zuerst
hergestellten plustern. Durch diese Politur wird ganz allein die künstlerische Wirkung
auf den zu bedruckenden Materialien erzielt, und zwar in fast vollkommener Art und
Weise, wie dies nach den Angaben der bisher bekannten Literatur möglich ist. Hervorzuheben
ist dabei noch ganz besonders der Umstand, daß allein durch die Politur ohne weiteres
ein künstlerischer Effekt erzielt wird, selbst wenn die Form als solche gar keinen
künstlerischen Charakter trägt. Diese eigenartige künstlerische Wirkung liegt offenbar
darin begründet, daß durch die polierte Fläche auf den Musterformen eine ganz eigenartige
Verteilung und Mischung der auf sie, nach der Polierung gebrachten Farbe bewirkt
