Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Übertragung von optischen Impulsen, insbesondere für die Zwecke des Fernsehens, der Bildübertragung, des Fernkinos u. dgl. Die Bildabtastung erfolgt durch eine Abtastscheibe mit spiralig angeordneten Lochrethen in Kombination mit einem optischen Linienraster derart, daß zu dessen Linien sich die Löcher der Spiralen quer bewegen. (Die Rasterlinien zerlegen das Blid eindimensional in Streifen.) Bewegt sich ein Loch der Lochreihe senkrecht oder annähernd senkrecht zu dem Streifenraster, so entstehen hintereinander Lichtpunktwirkungen, deren Dichte von der Anzahl der Rasterlinien abhängt, womit auch die Frequenz der überlagernden Welle bestimmt wird. Die Rasteriläche. welche durchsichtig ist, kann auch senkrecht zu den Rasterlinien beweglich sein, wodurch die Rasterfeinheit willkürlich änderbar wird, und zwar in der Weise, daß bei gleichgerichteter Bewegung von Rasterlinien und Loch die Rasterbreite scheinbar vergrößert, bei entgegengesetzter Richtung die Rasterbreite scheinbar verkleinert wird. Vorteilhaft besitzt jede Rasterlinie die Breite des Lochdurchmessers.
