Process for operating deflagration combustion turbines with pulverized coal
with the addition of a pilot fuel In patent 504 039 there is already a method
for operating detonation combustion turbines with the addition of a pilot fuel
has been proposed in which the pilot fuel in the Verpuff ungskammer. after
Beginning of the coal dust charge introduced and the introduction before the spark ignition
of the mixture is terminated. The pilot fuel was in the deflagration chamber
introduced through a conduit in the axis of the pulverized coal air inlet valve
was ordered and flowed directly into the Verpuffungskaininer. `Call too
by such an arrangement a favorable distribution of the pilot fuel in
the main cargo was secured, certain difficulties arose in the real one
Dosing of the ignition fuels, which are very rich in terms of their heat content, in the
Main charge on. It is known that the ignition fuels that come into consideration, in particular
the ignition gases, heat contents of about 4ooo WE'm ', while the mixture to be formed
only about joo WE; ml may have in order to have the highest ignitability. According to the present
Invention is maintained while maintaining or improving the good distribution of the pilot fuel
in the cargo a better possibility of dosing is achieved by the fact that the pilot fuel
already the atomization or charge air, expediently in one of the inflow valve
upstream mixing valve, is added. Both components of the mixture entering the mixture
are in flowing motion, so that the mixture becomes an intimate while
by precisely setting the cross-sections and strokes of the mixing valve the desired
fine measurement of the quantities to be mixed can be achieved. Mixing valves are
known in and of itself in piston internal combustion engine construction; however, they serve there
other purposes when working differently.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the inventive concept.
An
It denotes v the inlet valve side of a deflagration chamber. On the inlet valve side there is initially the purge air valve x, which is hydraulically operated via pipe x '. In addition to the purge air valve, a combined cargo and fuel valve is provided. The housing a of this valve continues towards the inside of the deflagration chamber into a mouthpiece a 'in order to be able to bring about a better circulation of fuel and air. In a manner known per se, the combined fuel air valve is controlled by a piston e under the influence of the oil pressure line q '. The fuel to be loaded into the deflagration chamber is located in a filling funnel t and is introduced into the fuel air valve housing in certain quantities at certain times via the appropriately controlled slide h and downpipe s. The valve stem c of this valve is provided with annular projections c 'in order to produce the necessary good distribution of the coal dust in the atomization air before it enters the deflagration chamber. A valve disk b rests against a corresponding seat in the housing a when the valve is closed and moves away from the seat as soon as the valve is opened after the deflagration chamber. The atomizing air itself is supplied to the inside of the valve through the pipe connection r.
According to the invention, the pipe 1 feeding the charge air into the pipe connection r is upstream of a mixing valve. The charge air is fed to this mixing valve in through pipe connection p and the pilot fuel through pipe connection o. Both pipe connections are closed off after line l by a check valve ya. As soon as charge air valve b is opened, valve 7a opens automatically under the pressure of the charge air, so that the charge air displacing the residual combustion gases from the previous deflagration penetrates into the deflagration chamber v. At the appropriate point in time, the slide valve is actuated so that the coal dust or the coal dust air mixture is loaded into the deflagration chamber. As soon as the introduction of pre-ignition or a coal dust air mixture part is secured, the pipe connection o ignition gas' is supplied so that the remaining charge or atomization air, enriched with ignition fuel, reaches the deflagration chamber. After charging has ended, the inlet valve b, c, e closes. In the deflagration chamber there is now a highly ignitable coal dust air charge due to the admixture of pilot fuel, so that when the mixture is now ignited, the entire charge is safely and completely ignited.
