Die Herstellung durchscheinender und klarer Polymerisationsprodukte von mehrbasischen Säuren und mehrwertigen Alkoholen ist ebenfalls bekannt. Gemäß der Erfindung wird dieses Produkt zur Herstellung von Fensterscheiben, Windschutzscheiben o. dgl., insbesondere für Fahrzeuge, verwendet. Besonders geeignet hierfür sind die Kondensationsprodukte aus Glycerin und Phthalsäureanhydrid. Aus diesem Ausgangsmaterial lassen sich hellgefärbte, durchsichtige und glasklare Gegenstände herstellen, da diese Kondensationsprodukte keine ausgeprägte Eigenfarbe besitzen.
