Amin mit i Mol.
Process for the preparation of alkali and ammonium salts of the mono- or
Disubstitution products of ditblocarbamic acid It is known that by action
from alkalis to a mixture of primary aromatic amines and carbon disulfide
immediately receives the corresponding symmetrical diarylthiourea. The reaction
proceeds in two stages, the first of which in the union of i mol. aromatic
Amine with i mol. Carbon disulfide to arylditbiocarbamic acid alkali salts.
This stage could so far by itself in the aromatic series of primary amines
only when using organic solvents or when using aqueous ammonia
with the formation of considerable amounts of dithiocarbamic acid ammonium
will.
- NH, + CS, + Me,CO" =- RNH - CSSMe + MeHCO"
2RNH2 + 2CSp , + Me"SiO., = 2RNH - CSSMe + H 20 + S'021 wobei R ein
aromatisches Radikal, wie Phenvi, Tolyl, Xylyl usw., Me ein Alkalimetall o-jer Ammonium
bedeutet.
It has now been found that the alkali and ammonium salts of mono- or disubstitution products of dithiocarbamic acid or of mixtures of these can be obtained in a far more advantageous manner if inan on primary aromatic amines such as aniline, toluidine, xylidine, etc., or on mixtures of primary aromatic amines among themselves or with primary and / or secondary aliphatic or secondary aromatic amines carbon disulfide in the presence of aqueous solutions of alkali and / or ammonium salts of weak oxygen-containing acids can act. To carry out the reaction, it is advantageous if the amines and the carbon disulfide are used in an equinolecular ratio. Soda, potash, ammonium carbonate, silicates, triphosphates and similar alkali and ammonium salts of weak oxygen-containing acids have proven to be suitable alkali and ammonium salts. For example, when using carbonates or silicates, the reaction proceeds according to the following equations: R - NH, + CS, + Me, CO "= - RNH - CSSMe + MeHCO" 2RNH2 + 2CSp , + Me "SiO., = 2RNH - CSSMe + H 20 + S'021 where R is an aromatic radical, such as phenvi, tolyl, xylyl, etc., Me is an alkali metal or ammonium or to supply an acid whose dissociation line is # fdeiWqr as 3 - IG - # z.
The salts of hydrogen sulfide are for the present process
not suitable, since the reaction predominantly forms when these salts are used
of trithiocarbonates.
One to two hours is sufficient to carry out the procedure
Stirring or shaking the reaction components in aqueous solution or suspension
at ordinary temperature.
Verwendung finden. Beispiel i 93Gewichtsteile

der Theorie. The aryldithiocarbaminsanren salts can be obtained in solution or as crystals , depending on the concentration. For some purposes, it is also possible to use mixtures of primary aromatic amines and mixtures of primary aromatic amines with secondary aromatic and primary and secondary aliphatic amines; mixtures of the basic salts mentioned can also be used as condensing agents. The solutions and solid salts of the aromatic monosubstituted dithiocarbamic acids can, for. B. as a flotation agent for ores, as a starting material for vulcanization accelerators, for the preparation of aromatic mustard oils, etc. are used. Example i 93 parts by weight of aniline and 76 parts by weight of carbon disulfide are suspended in 400 vol. The reaction solution heats up slightly, and a yellow liquid of low turbidity is obtained from which the potassium salt of phenyldithiocarbamic acid precipitates in beautiful crystals even at ordinary temperature. When the solution cools, the remaining part of the potassium salt crystallizes out almost completely, so that a total yield of potassium salt of over 96 % of theory is obtained Divide by volume of an i: o 01 "strength sodium silicate solution, shaken for one hour at ordinary temperature. "In the course of the reaction, the silica precipitates and, after the acid has been filtered off, a clear yellow solution of sodium o-tolyldithiocarbamic acid is obtained. The yield is 94% of theory.
