Koch- oder Backgerät, dessen Teile in enger Flächenberührung miteinander stehen, und besteht insbesondere darin, daß an dem jeweilig oberen Teile sowohl ein oder mehrere Handgriffe vorgesehen sind als auch eine zweite Vorrichtung, die beim Erfassen des Handgriffes im Bereiche der Hand, insbesondere des Daumens liegt und sich auf einen Rand, Ansatz o. dg1. des unteren Teiles .auflegt, so daß bei Handhabung des Handgriffes und der Vorrichtung eine sichere Trennung der Flächenberührung der Teile voneinander gewährleistet ist. Die von Hand zu bedienende Vorrichtung kann aus einer vorzugsweise in der Nähe des Handgriffes angeordneten Feder bestehen, deren freies Ende sich um den Rand des Teiles a, des Gerätes, an dem sie befestigt ist, herumgreifend zwischen diesen und den Rand des anderen Geräteteiles legt.
