There are steering devices known in which the geometric axis of the firmly connected to the front wheels Axle journal is arranged at an angle to the front axle and where the The wheel is mounted on the axle journal with a bushing in such a way that that the axis of the cylindrical bearing surface
In contrast, the invention consists in the fact that the wheel axle journals load-bearing axles are firmly connected to the vehicle frame and between the switched on bushing and the wheel axle journal a second sleeve is switched on, in which also the geometrical axis of the sleeve carrying the first switched on is switched on Running surface with the geometric axis of the running surface which can be rotated on the wheel axle journal form an angle, and means are provided for moving the two sleeves against each other are.

Fig. VII ist eine Darstellung des Schnittes G-H durch das Gehäuse der Übersetzungsräder der Fig. IX des rechten Steuerelements.VII is a representation of the section GH through the housing of the transmission gears of FIG. IX of the right control element.
Fig. VIII ist eine Schnittzeichnung durch die waagerechte Mittelebene des linken Steuerelements um i8o° gedreht gesehen in gerader Fahrtrichtung.VIII is a sectional drawing through the horizontal center plane of the left control element rotated by i8o ° viewed in the straight direction of travel.
Fig. IX is a sectional drawing through the horizontal median plane of the right Control element in the position on the left turn.
Auf der Steuerhülse b ist nun die Büchse d (Fig. IX), welche in der waagerechten Mittelebene (Fig. VIII) gleichlaufend mit den Achszapfen ar und a2, dagegen in der Kurvenstellung schiefwinklig zu den Achszapfen α1 und a2, wie in Fig. IX ersichtlich, als äußere Lagerfläche χ abgedreht und an einem EndeThe control element built into the steering wheels X and Y is shown in FIG. On the axis α with the both sides being turned in the horizontal position slightly rearwardly cranked journal a 1 and ar as shown in Fig. I, II, III, VIII and IX ersieht-Hch, is rotatably mounted, the control sleeve b (Fig. VIII and IX), one end of which is designed as a spur gear b 1 and a bevel gear b 2 is attached to the other end. This control sleeve b is by the on the end of the stub axle or and a? The threaded ring c screwed on and secured by the cotter pin c 1 is secured against shifting. On the control sleeve b is now the bush d (Fig. IX), which in the horizontal center plane (Fig. VIII) is parallel to the journals ar and a 2 , but in the curve position at an oblique angle to the journals α 1 and a 2 , as in Fig. IX can be seen, turned off as the outer bearing surface χ and at one end
It is now on this bearing surface x, which is provided on both sides with a shoulder s 1 and .ν 2 due to lateral displacement, the sleeve e consisting of two halves also rotatably through 90 ° forwards or backwards. This sleeve e is offset in the horizontal center plane (Fig. VIII) on its outer diameter according to the dash-dotted center lines, that is by about 5 °, to the journals a l and a 2 and turned off in stages. Inside, the bushing e is drilled out according to the dash-dotted center line t as the inner bearing surface s. The sleeve e is designed on the inside at the outer end as an inner bevel ring gear fr *, in which the bevel gear b 2 of the control sleeve b moves as a driver of the sleeve e , whereby the latter is moved depending on the curve to be taken. The stepwise turned, outer diameter of the sleeve e is used to accommodate the threaded ring f of the ball or roller bearing h and the inner bearing bell g with the support pin r, which is used to accommodate the small ball or roller bearing i . By unscrewing hzw. Against each of the screws bearing against the threaded ring bell g / on the cut on the outer diameter of the bushing e at both ends of the thread of the inner race of the ball or roller bearing is mounted h. Furthermore, the outer race of the large ball or roller bearing h is fastened by screwing the outer bearing plate 7 to the disk rim k of the two steering wheels X, Y (FIGS. VIII and IX), which are not fully visible here. Due to the internal and external machining of the bushing in different axes, the two steering wheels X, Y, which can be rotated on ball or roller bearings, become one on both sides when the two bushings d, e (Fig. VIII) rotate in opposite directions brought rectified inclination according to the curve. By screwing the bushes consisting of two halves by means of the threaded ring / and the inner bearing bell g , this becomes a closed bearing support body. The cavity (Fig. VIII and IX) between the sleeve d and the screwed-on inner bearing bell § ■ serves as a lubricating chamber for the moving parts of the control element, which is encapsulated in a dust-tight manner. The control elements on the left and right of the two steering wheels X, Y are controlled by a common control shaft m (Fig. VIII and IX), which is rotatably mounted on the right and left in the wheel protection housings q , by means of the gears & 1 and d x engaging on both sides, spur gears n, 0, p, p 1 attached to the control shaft m at both ends are moved from the driver's seat, thereby pivoting the two steering wheels X, Y about their center to the right or left.
The operation and mode of operation of the control is now as follows:
By forward or backward rotation of the control shaft m of the left control element, on which the two spur gears η, ο are keyed, the two gears b 1 and d 1 of the control sleeve b and the bushing d, the latter through the interposition of a change gear o 1 (Fig . IV), moved against each other. At the same time, the bevel gear b 2 , which is keyed onto one end of the control sleeve b and which rotates in the inner bevel gear & 3 of the sleeve e as a driver of the sleeve e, causes the sleeve e to rotate like the control sleeve b and thereby the two sleeves d and e rotated against each other, whereby a forward or backward pivoting of the steering wheels is effected. This movement also applies to the right control element (Fig. VIII and IX) j with the only difference that on the other end of the control shaft m only one spur gear /) is keyed, which by interposing the change gear p 1 in the spur gear fr 1 of the Control sleeve b (Fig. VII) engages in the spur gear d 1 of the sleeve d (Fig. VI). As a result of this reciprocal reciprocal movement of the control elements fr, d, e on both sides, the two steering wheels X, Y are brought into a curved position in the same direction on both sides (FIGS. I, II and III). With the axles α 1 and a 2 of the front axle α cranked backwards by 5 ° on both sides (Fig. I to III, VIII and IX), the two steering wheels X, Y are expensive organs d, e in the by the reciprocal mutual movements of the S bodies on both sides brought depending on the size of the curve required steering position, the angular position of each steering wheel is different. Furthermore, the reciprocal movement of the bushes d, e from the horizontal center plane (FIG. VIII) to the vertical center plane results in an inclined or cambered position of the steering wheels that is approximately 10 ° in the outermost curve and is in the same direction on both sides.
