Description

Trough-shaped iron sheet pile The present invention relates on the formation of the trough-shaped sheet pile, known per se, in such a way that that a simple trough shape with flanges of equal width on one flange in Direction of the floor outwards to an approach which is about the same width like the ground. This shape makes it possible to use sheet piling irons of this type to produce both simple walls and box-shaped walls. The connection of the individual sheet piling irons with each other can be done in a known manner.

In Fig. I the new sheet pile shape is shown in cross section. The trough shape e-f-g-fi has flanges g-lt and f-e of the same width. e-i is the approach. The connection is made in a known manner and can be carried out as required. Fig.-a shows the formation of box shapes in such a way that the individual sheet piles a and b are rammed against each other with the smooth back surfaces of the floors. If If a special strength appears necessary, the rammed planks can be used c to be welded. In addition, this shape is very suitable for receiving the usual anchorages, as indicated at d.
