Bei diesen bekannten Kontaktstreifen wird das Lötmetall durch Eintauchen des angespitzten Streifenendes in flüssiges Lötmetall tropfenförmig aufgetragen, wobei die Spitze des Streifens vorher in Lötwasser getaucht werden muß, weil sonst das Lötmetall am Kontaktstreifen nicht haftenbleibt. Da es praktisch unmöglich ist, das Lötwasser nach dem Auftragen des Lötmetalls restlos zu beseitigen und auch die Kontaktstreifen nicht sofort weiterverwendet, d. h. am Element angelötet werden, wird das Lötwasser den Kontaktstreifen angreifen und auf die Dauer eine Oxydation hervorrufen, wodurch der Streifen schadhaft wird.There are already known contact strips for Trokkeneleraente which are provided at one end with a layer of solder to facilitate soldering to the zinc cup.
