Description
The invention relates to a break contact for larger currents, the consists in a known manner of a main and a secondary contact. The dynamic ones Effects on the contact surfaces at very high currents make it necessary to to train the contacts so that harmful effects, in particular by the dynamic forces on which contacts ίο cannot occur. According to the invention the main contact is designed so that it consists of several individual, in groove-like \ ^ recesses of a contact base body arranged block contacts, which are individually sprung in the direction of movement and whose contact surfaces have one or more grooves, warts or the like. The purpose of these is to keep the coolant, be it oil, air or the like, as good as possible bring them to the contact surfaces. This effect can be further improved if the contact surfaces have through-holes or the individual rows of contacts are below Taking into account the dynamic effect of the current flow are arranged obliquely.
The figure shows one of the possible embodiments. It means ο the vertically arranged lead-in insulator rriit the lead-through bolt b, which carries the actual contact body c , which serves as a holder for the block contacts. In this parallel slots rf are milled in one or more rows, in which the individual contacts e are arranged as multiple contacts. Each of these individual contacts e is limited by a screw / in its stroke. A spring g, which is arranged between the power supply belt h , presses the contact block c downwards, i are the mating contacts arranged on the cross member k. The traverse k also has a sliding contact lug I with the mating contact m. This sliding contact is the tear-off contact, which takes over the tear-off spark after switching off. Bores η are provided for better cooling of the contact surfaces and for flushing with oil. The movable contact blocks e also do not have a support over their entire surface, but only, for example, at three points, so-called warts, whereby this small contact surface receives a particularly strong surface pressure, which is of particular advantage for the passage of current. The arrows 0 and p indicate the forces of the dynamic effect in the case of strong throughflow currents. The force ρ therefore acts on the lower end of the insulator, bending it to the right, while the force 0 tries to push the traverse downwards. A resultant force effect follows from both forces, which endeavors to twist the contacts e as well. In order to counteract this, the contact surfaces of the contacts e and i can be kept inclined so that the contact surfaces experience an increase in pressure when the dynamic force acts.
