Die Füllstoffe müssen sowohl die explosionsartige Reaktion mildern und verlangsamen wie auch die Reibung erhöhen Lind die nötige örtliche Auflockerung der wirksamen Masse bewirken. Letztere Aufgabe hat bei den gebräuchlichen Massen insl>esondere (las Glaspulver, während als Milderungsstoffe Metallverbindungen wie Zinkweiß, Calciumcarbonat usw. benutzt werden.
