Gemäß der Erfindung wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß über das aufgedruckte mehrfarbige Bild zunächst in bekannter Weise eine Trockenflüssigkeit zum schnelleren Trocknen des Mehrfarbendruckes gebracht wird, worauf dann auf die über das ganze Druckbild aufgetragene farblose Trockenflüssigkeit erneut eine Unterdruckfarbe und anschließend auf die Unterdruckfarbe- Bronze aufgetragen wird. Dadurch wird vermieden, daß Bronzeteilchen beim Aufstäuben an den übrigen Farbflächen hängenbleiben und so das Gesamtaussehen des Druckbildes beeinträchtigen, ferner daß das aufgetragene Farbbild durch die Wischer des Bronzierwerkes verschmiert wird, wodurch ebenfalls wieder Ausschuß entstehen würde. Dadurch, daß gemäß der Erfindung das Aufstäuben der Bronze erst nach dem Trocknen erfolgt, ist die Herstellung eines tadellos sauberen Zuschnittes mit einem guten Bronzeauftrag gewährleistet. Die Maschinen, die gemäß diesem Verfahren arbeiten, erfordern außerdem keine nennenswerte Abänderung; es braucht lediglich ein weiteres Farbwerk zwischen dem letzten Druckwerk und dem Druckwerk zum Auftragen der Unterdruckfarbe zwischengeschaltet zu werden, das die Trockenflüssigkeit aufdruckt bzw. aufträgt.
