Abstract

An electric heating cartridge (1), especially for heating liquids and/or gaseous media, comprises at least one positive temperature coefficient element (10), two electrodes (9), and an insulating element (8) that electrically insulates a housing (2). The insulating element consists of a polyimide film. The cartridge has at least two heat conducting members.
