Abstract

The invention relates to use of plasma polymerisation and plasma polymers for the scratch-resistant finishing of coated substrates, a method for the production of a scratch-resistant finish on a coated substrate by application of at least one scratch-resistant layer on the coated substrate by plasma polymerisation and a coated substrate with a scratch-resistant finish, comprising at least one layer made from a plasma polymer produced by plasma polymerisation as outermost layer.
