A pressure element (100) arranged on the opposite side of the pane to the bearing region presses the pane against the bearing region. An Independent claim is also included for a process for producing the above window or door frame. Preferred Features: The strip is removably fixed to the pressure element. The frame profile is made of a solid body (12), especially wood, and a profile part (16) especially made of metal or plastic is fixed to the frame profile.
