Abstract

The invention relates to a cooling plate (1, 101, 201) for shaft furnaces, which are provided with a fire-resistant lining, comprising at least one coolant channel (2, 102, 202) and pipe sections (16, 17) for coolant entry or discharge, whereby the respective coolant channel (2, 102, 202) is delimited, on the one hand, by a respective coolant channel recess in the cooling plate itself and, on the other hand, by a second part. The aim of the invention is to improve a cooling plate of the aforementioned type with regard to manufacturing and cooling. To this end, the second part, which is provided in the form of a cover plate (4, 104, 204), is placed in a sunken manner inside a respective coolant channel recess (3, 203) that is formed by the cooling plate itself.
