Abstract
The device (1) has a housing (11) provided with a smoke intake, and a smoke sensor device for detecting smoke penetrating into the device through the smoke intake for activating an alarm signal. The smoke intake has a transit area attached to an outlet-testing device (3) such as optical testing device, that determines outlet capacity for the smoke in the transit area independent of the existence of the smoke. The outlet testing device comprises a light receiving measuring unit (31).
