Abstract

The machining process involves machining a through aperture (10). An abrasive fluid is applied to one side of the aperture at grinding pressure, and counter pressure is applied to the other side. The counter pressure is first set roughly equal to the grinding pressure, and then, to create the flow, a pressure difference between the grinding pressure and counter pressure is set. A device to implement the process is also described.
