Abstract

A pair of binoculars incorporates a focus correction mechanism (12) for eye focus error that allows for correction of each eye. The focusing wheel (5) simultaneously corrects both eye-pieces (12) by the same amount and locks one eyepiece in position. The correction wheel may then override a friction element in one eyepiece to make further adjustment.
