Schließe für die Enden von Gummibändern, Schnüren u. dgl., insbesondere
von Strumpfbändern Gegenstand der Erfindung behandelt eine Verbesserung der Schließe
für die Enden von Gummibändern, Schnüren u. dgl., insbesondre von Strumpfbändern,
nach Patent 482 722. Dort hat die Schließe die Gestalt einer Platte mit einer nach
beiden Seiten in Klemmschlitze auslaufenden Einstecköffnung, wobei die Platte mit
einer Schutzhaube verbunden ist, die sich über ersterer wölbt und an den Enden offen
ist. Bei dieser Schließe ist man jedoch gezwungen, die Enden des Gummibandes durch
die Einstecköffnung zu stecken, wobei sie nach erfolgter Einführung gegen die sich
darüber wölbende Platte stoßen. Nunmehr war es erforderlich, die Enden umzubiegen,
so daß sie aus den seitlichen öffnungen der gewölbten Schutzhaube heraustraten,
damit sie erfaßt und in die Klemmschlitze Gezogen «,-erden konnten. Zur Ausführung
dieser Maßnahme ist aber' eine gewisse Geschicklichkeit erforderlich, die bei dem

Die Schließe gemäß der Erfindung ist gleichfalls mit einer sich über
der Platte wölbenden Schutzhaube versehen, welche erfindungsgemäß nur an der einen
Längsseite mit der Platte verbunden ist und einen über der runden Einsteck Öffnung

Die Schließe für die Enden von Gummibändern, Schnüren u. dgl., insbesondere
von Strumpfbändern, besteht gemäß dem Hauptpatent
482 722 aus einer
bekannten Platte a aus Metallblech, Celluloid o. dgl., die von einer Schutzhaube
b- überwölbt wird. Diese überdeckt die freien Enden des Bandes, so daß sie nicht
durch ,äußere Einflüsse ungewollt aus den Klemmschlitzen der Platte herausgezogen
werden können. Erfindungsgemäß stellt man die Platten mit der Haube b aus
einem Stück Material in der Weise her, daß die Haube nur an der einen Längsseite
mit der Platte verbunden ist. Die Platte a hat in bekannter Weise in der Mitte eine
runde Einstecköffnung c, welche seitlich in schmale Klemmschlitze d ausläuft.
Die Haube b ist nun wie beim Hauptpatent gleichfalls an den beiden Querseiten
e offen und wird gemäß der Erfindung mit einem Ausschnitt/ versehen, der über der
Einstecköffnungc der Platten liegt und nach der zweiten Längsseite g der Haube offen
ist. Zum Festlegen der Bandenden in der Schließe führt man erstere zunächst in die
Einstecköffrnung c der Platten ein, so daß sie um ein bestimmtes Stück durch den
Ausschnitt/ der Haube b- hindurchtreten. Nun erfaßt man jedes Bandende und zieht
es nach rechts bzw. links über die offene Längsseite g der Haube in die offenen
Querseiten e hinein. Dabei gleiten die Gummibandenden aus der Einstecköfnung c in
die Klemmschlitze d ein, wodurch eine wirksame Verbindung zwischen der Schließe
und den Bandenden hergestellt worden ist. Die Wölbung der Haube über der Platte
kann so flach ausgebildet sein, daß die Bandenden zwischen Platte und Haube eingeklemmt
werden. Man kann auch die Einstecköffnung c der Platten ähnlich dem Ausschnitt/
der Haube b in die offene Längsseite der Schließe übergehen lassen, so daß die Bandenden
gleichzeitig in die Öffnung c und .den Barüberliegenden Ausschnitt/ seitlich eingeschoben
