Dies geschieht dadurch, daß mehrere konkave Kalotten, welche zwischen sich die zu bemalenden Stellen des Balles frei lassen, durch eine festschraubbare Klemmvorrichtung eng an den Ball gelegt werden. Zwischen den Kalotten können Streifen frei gelassen werden, die die übliche Verzierung von Bällen durch geradlinige Farbstreifen hervorbringen.
