Abstract
The arrangement has a central paint channel, controlled valves for selectable paint and cleaning media and a controller connected to an external electronic control system connected to electromagnetic valves. Paint or cleaning medium paths are switched by pneumatic valves opened and closed by compressed air or other gas fed via a common compressed gas line. There is an electromagnetic valve in the compressed gas path to each pneumatic valve. The arrangement has a central paint channel for coating material fed to an application element, controlled valves (3) for selectable paint and if appropriate cleaning media and a controller for switching valves connected to an external electronic control system (7). Electromagnetic valves are connected via an electrical connection arrangement in the valve arrangement (1) to the external electronic control system. Paint or cleaning medium paths leading into the paint channel are switched by pneumatic valves opened and closed by compressed air or other gas fed to the valves via a common compressed gas line (4). The valve arrangement has an electromagnetic valve in the compressed gas path to each pneumatic valve. Independent claims are also included for the following: a valve for a paint change valve arrangement and a method of controlling a paint change valve arrangement.
