Abstract

The alarm has an input-voltage regulator (2), alarm circuitry (3) and an alarm indicator (4). The alarm indicator is connected in series with the alarm circuitry (3) and supplied with the current required by the alarm circuitry. The Alarm indicator may be connected between the voltage input (1) to the circuit and the voltage regulator (2). A switch (5) may be connected in parallel with the alarm indicator for bridging over the alarm indicator.
