Abstract
Process for guiding a steel strip through a coating container from below to above comprises directing the strip, guided continuously in the inlet channel and through the melt, in a planar manner through one or more flows produced in the melt; and deviating in the vertical. An independent claim is also included for a device for guiding a steel strip through a coating container from below to above comprising a molding wall (13) which determines a strip path arranged in the coating container (2). Preferred Features: The molding wall reaches the strip path on a holder (16) in a recess of the wall of the container.
