Abstract

The device has a circular polarized antenna (3) above the linear polarized antenna(s) (33) on a counterweight surface (9). The circular polarized antenna can withstand high currents and the top antenna is fed from a feed point via a coaxial cable. An inner conductor-outer conductor inversion takes place at the feed point with the inner conductor of the feed (17,20) connected to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable (11) and vice-versa.
