Das katalytische Heizpolster in einem der beiden Flachböden strahlt hierbei die Wärme der inneren Heizfläche hauptsächlich durch den freien Gasraum hindurch nach dem gegenüberliegenden Flachboden, während der kleinere Teil der Wärmestrahlung auf den den Gasraum ganz umgebenden Brennstoffraum trifft und die notwendige Verdampfung sicherstellt.
