Da nun aber die erreichbare Genauigkeit solcher Nachbildungen begrenztWith telecommunication lines, especially with two-wire and four-wire connections, as is known, special facilities are provided that a self-excitation of the Prevent conduction. These facilities include the line needle formation at the fork points the two-wire and four-wire connections. Since, however, the achievable accuracy of such simulations is limited
So it is z. B. usually not possible.;, to connect more than about four to six two-wire amplifiers in series without
t5 Selbsterregung eintritt.t5 self-excitement occurs.
In die-There is a risk of self-excitation of two or four-wire amplifiers if the required quality of the replicas at the fork points has not been achieved. In the-
Ist nun innerhalb dieses aus den beidenao sem case there is one over the fork points (Unwanted) coupling between the output circuit of one of the amplification sections and the input circle of the other branch. Is now within this of the two
If the sum of the attenuations and gains is negative, then occurs in a known manner the Rüdkkopplungsprinzip self-excitation of the circle. The feedback flexibility that occurs after the oscillations have built up depends on the amplifier power and the curvature of the tube characteristics, the Rüjofck coupling frequency on the inevitable natural frequency of the circle. This is usually in the upper part Part of the audible range so that the feedback oscillation is perceived as a whistling sound will. Since the straight part of the tube characteristic is usually far overdriven and an understanding about the two is in this Wise oscillating amplifier set is known to be impossible, attempts have been made so far through extensive improvements to the line replicas and the compensation Eliminate self-excitement.
According to the invention, there is now a fundamentally new way of avoiding the feedback disturbances trodden by on the line replicas or on a good one Compensation dispensed with and the amplitude of the feedback oscillations thanks to special switching means is kept so small that the operation on the line is no longer possible is disturbed. During operation, the speech streams automatically generate another 55 · A further reduction in the amplitude of the amplitude of the doubling and a verbeisaerang of the degree of amplification brought about in the direction of speech.
B. in Abb. 1 dargestellt. Die beiden Teilnehmer^'und i2 A basic arrangement of this type for four-wire connections is e.g. B. shown in Fig. 1. The two participants ^ 'and i 2

This arrangement comes about, since the line simulations on the forks g x and g 2 are completely absent, requires normal reinforcements for self-excitation. In order to limit the amplitude of the self-excitation, two blocking devices ^ and e 2 , to be described in more detail, are provided, to which a part of the feedback currents is fed behind V 1 and V 2, respectively. The devices e x and e 2 have the effect that the gain of the associated amplifiers V 2 and V 1 decreases the more the greater the feedback currents supplied to the devices e x and e 2. The arrangement then finally comes into a state of equilibrium in which the oscillation amputation is only given by the sensitivity of e x and e 2, that is, can be kept as small as desired.
,The gain of the amplifier can be changed in a number of ways, e.g. B. in that the feedback currents tapped after V 1 are amplified and rectified in e x , and that the rectified voltage shifts the grid potential of the amplifier to be blocked V 2 from the working area of the tube. It is essential / that the (lower) response limit of the blocking arrangements e x and e 2 is selected so that the steady-state amplitude of the limited, feedback oscillation is about as large or greater than the amplitude of the interference currents of foreign origin present in the line so z. B. caused by crosstalk, machine yaw noises, etc. ,
Another possibility of limiting the amplifiers V 1 and V 2 in their oscillation amplitode is that the devices ^ and e 2 consist of an amplifier and rectifier circuit and that the currents rectified at the output of e t and e 2 'a or actuate several mechanical relays, which short-circuit the incoming or outgoing line of the amplifier to be blocked, in whole or in part.
The arrangement described has common feedback locks opposite the great advantage that it is always ready for use even when not in use. It it is therefore not necessary to first use part of the speech streams for the line or to make the amplifier in question ready for use.
If, for example, speech streams arrive from t x and are to be transmitted after t 2 , they are passed on immediately by the amplifier V-L without the beginnings of words being truncated, as is the case, for example, with conventional feedback suppressors. In addition, due to the special effect of the control arrangements e ± and e 2, there is a further improvement in the speech transmission as soon as a very short time necessary to influence the control device has passed after the beginning of the word has arrived. In any case, it can be assumed that the mean amplitude of the speech currents is several times greater than the amplitude of the feedback and interference currents. So when a speech stream from t x arrives via V 1 , it also reaches the blocking device e x and, due to its greater amplitude, causes a further shift in the operating point of amplifier V 2 , so that its gain and the feedback amplitude are considerably reduced. The consequence of this is that the control device ' e 2 receives significantly smaller amplitudes than before in the idle state and in this way allows the gain of V 1 to go up. The amplitude of the speech currents 8g behind V x , which is increased in this way, causes a further increase in the degree of transmission of V x via e x and further along the path described, until a new operating equilibrium weight of the amplifier system is reached. The time required for this adjustment is. extremely kjuarz, so that an impairment of communication by the diminished. Reproduction quality of the first word particle does not occur.
Such arrangements can of course be used not only with four-wire connections, but also with two-wire connections. The situation here is such that one can only connect a certain number of two-wire amplifiers in series with the usual compensating circuits without self-excitation occurring. If one interconnects two two-wire connections of this length, which are not whistling by themselves, for example via a cord amplifier, then it usually occurs. Self-excitement. In this practically very important case, the invention makes it possible to keep the vibration amplitude of the whistling system so small that it practically no longer interferes with operation. It is advantageous to limit the back coupling with the cord amplifier, via which the two two-wire connections are interconnected. Fig. 2 shows the basic circuit diagram of such a cord amplifier with feedback limitation. It consists of four individual amplifiers V x and V 4 and two feedback limiters ^ and «? ^ Whose mode of operation is the same as that already described for the feedback limitation in four-wire connections (Fig. 1).
